What to write in a New Year Card

Okay so you sent a Christmas card already and the New Year is on its way but you have no idea on what to say let Mistergreeting card help you on how to make your greeting card livelier apart from the generic “Happy New Year.”

If you know the people you are sending the card to personally try to list down their New Year resolution, depending on the person include humor or positive reinforcement to show them you support them.  Adding simple quotes or good verses to uplift a spirit is a good way to create a greeting card that will boost someone’s start of the year.

Send them good tidings or well wishes.  Like “Hoping for the best in your new career change this new year” or “Wishing you nothing but the best in your new endeavor.”

You can also write down you New Year resolution specially those that may involve the person you are sending it too.   A good example would be:

1)      For this year I am cutting down alcohol intake by 50% so please help me to decline parties with drinks.
2)      I am trying to regain my slender figure from our 20s, I need your support so lets hit the gym!
3)      As Fireworks start to welcome the year, I also start my campaign to quit smoking so don’t influence me.

It doesn’t have to be long.  It just has to be catchy or enough that your reader will be smile and feel that you took a little bit of time to write your feelings.

Whether it’s funny, sarcastic or bubbly your goal in personalizing the card is to make the person reading it happy even just for a few seconds.  Cards are always sent from the heart no matter how you want to achieve it.  So pop that champagne bottle and let’s celebrate to the best the world has to offer this coming year! Cheers!
