What to write when you are at loss for words

All of us have those days where we are loss for words and have no idea how we can relay our feelings to others.  Here are a few tips on how you could write something when you think you can’t:

1)      Settle down and relax your mind you are probably thinking too hard and forcing yourself to write.  People who can write a lot are normally just thinking bout a certain topic or feeling, you on the other hand has so much stuff in your head you got confused on which to write about.

2)      Remember your recipient and think about his / her qualities – does he/she like to laugh? Is he/she your boss that requires a more serious tone? Is he/she a relative that yearns for more sweetness?

3)      Remember why you are writing.

-          Is it for a special occasion or just a note to say hello?
-          Special occasions like weddings may require a bit more formality than a normal birthday card

4)      Create a mini outline on what you want to say.
            Ex.
I.                   Intro/ Hello/Greetings
II.                How you feel that moment
III.             Why you are writing
IV.             Special memories you share with the person (skip if its for a colleague or a boss)
V.                Thank you
VI.             Final greetings or other sweet nothings

Outlines will keep your thoughts in one general line so your ideas are not scattered.  Simplicity is still the best bet for any greeting card.  You don’t have to fill up all the spaces to express your feelings, you just tell them succinctly how you feel in simple words and that’s about it.

It’s always simple with MisterGreetingCard.

How to Say Sorry

Sorry.

Apologies are the hardest thing to do.  People envelope themselves with so much pride, swallowing it and saying a simple word like ‘sorry’ can be a chore.

If you can’t say it in front of the person, perhaps a “Sorry greeting card” is a great alternative.  In it, you can include your feelings, your thoughts and of course your apology.  You can start with your intentions and express all your forlorn feelings.

Here are a few pointers on how to go about with your apology:

1)      Remind them of how far your friendship or love stood with the test of time
2)      Tell them how you are feeling lately (sad and lonely, bewildered, stagnant etc…)
3)      Tell them why you decided to write
4)      Let them know what you hope to achieve with this note
5)      Tell them how DEEPLY AND SINCERELY SORRY YOU ARE.
6)      Let them know what you have learned and promise to change
7)      Thank them for all the love and understanding amidst the upset

Never say sorry if you really don’t mean it. It’s pointless, useless and a waste of both of your time.  It’s not all that difficult, swallow your pride, move your mouse and let MisterGreetingCard help you. Send that Sorry to that someone who you may have just hurt.  It always the best time to say you’re sorry.

MisterGreetingCard, Where Sorry is always welcomed and highly encouraged.

What to write in Sympathy Cards

Loss of a loved one is difficult.  How should you tell a good friend you are sorry for their loss?  This has always been a problem for everyone who wants to comfort their friends and loved ones.

Being sensitive and being sorry is one thing, expressing it and putting it into words is another thing.  You may have lost someone you love and you know that no amount of sorry from other people can really erase your sadness and grief.  So a lot of us really have a hard time to say their condolences.

So how do you say it? Simple words.  It doesn’t have to be poetic, it just has to come from the heart.  To help you write your sympathy card here are a few phrases you can start with:

1)      At this time of bereavement, know that I am here
2)      Our Prayers are with you and your family at this time of grief
3)      Our  Wonderful memories  and Prayers are with your dearly departed
4)      I have known (Name) as a kind hearted man (include great attributes of the deceased and special memories to share with the family), know that he will always be remembered.
5)      Our deep Condolences
6)      We hold you close in our prayers today and the days ahead

Death is really a difficult matter to discuss most specially to those people who has just lost their love.  Always remember to be sensitive, it doesn’t really matter how beautiful your words are because the most important thing is to just let the sad party know that you are there for them no matter what.  Don’t put too much on it, a novel or an autobiography of that person is not really necessary.  A little hug can also do wonders with that aching heart.

With all that in mind, start creating your Sympathy Card at MisterGreetingCard

MisterGreetingCard, Where Sympathies are always heartfelt and grief, pain and sadness from loss are erased.
