What to write in Sympathy Cards

Loss of a loved one is difficult.  How should you tell a good friend you are sorry for their loss?  This has always been a problem for everyone who wants to comfort their friends and loved ones.

Being sensitive and being sorry is one thing, expressing it and putting it into words is another thing.  You may have lost someone you love and you know that no amount of sorry from other people can really erase your sadness and grief.  So a lot of us really have a hard time to say their condolences.

So how do you say it? Simple words.  It doesn’t have to be poetic, it just has to come from the heart.  To help you write your sympathy card here are a few phrases you can start with:

1)      At this time of bereavement, know that I am here
2)      Our Prayers are with you and your family at this time of grief
3)      Our  Wonderful memories  and Prayers are with your dearly departed
4)      I have known (Name) as a kind hearted man (include great attributes of the deceased and special memories to share with the family), know that he will always be remembered.
5)      Our deep Condolences
6)      We hold you close in our prayers today and the days ahead

Death is really a difficult matter to discuss most specially to those people who has just lost their love.  Always remember to be sensitive, it doesn’t really matter how beautiful your words are because the most important thing is to just let the sad party know that you are there for them no matter what.  Don’t put too much on it, a novel or an autobiography of that person is not really necessary.  A little hug can also do wonders with that aching heart.

With all that in mind, start creating your Sympathy Card at MisterGreetingCard
